9 Patch Project Swap

I have just loved getting all the swap parcels – and even nicer to unpack everyone’s swap blocks.

A huge thank you to all of you who added additional blocks for charity quilts – I’ll post tops as I make them.

We had a lot of traditional 9 Patch‘s – I love all the different fabric choices.

Here is a picture of all the blocks laid out on the dining room table.

Table cloth / quilt all done

Yeah, the quilt for the table is done. I finished it in the nick of time for our home group (bible study) break up and friday night craft group tonight.

Christmas redwork coming together

And it just needs another boarder

and the table cloth is coming together

I made the red and white 9 patches and put the redwork in between. Still a few more rows to do and then a border to two.

Christmas is just round the corner!!

I can’t believe it – its 3 weeks until Christmas!!

What to do?

I saw this cute fabric on sale and thought that it was time to make some Christmas Decorations – well a table cloth for the dining table.

I love a basic 9 Patch – and the Jacob’s Ladder quilt – its simple yet elegant.

Perhaps I could do some Christmas motifs in redwork as well.
